Front Office and Marketing Intern

Responsabilities

  • Helps promote the hotel's range of services on offer (eg. the bar) by anticipating customer needs and responding to guests' requests.
  • To attend the daily morning or afternoon Front Office briefing at the beginning of the shift.
  • To handle guest complaints, inquiries, and comments, log them and initiate appropriate action and follow up.
  • To update the guest preference and information into the hotel computer system.(Opera)
  • Administers the hotel’s billing system for telephone charges.
  • Ensure the Supervisor is informed of any malfunction of equipment in the Operator room.

Preferred Skills

  • High-school diploma to degree, or equivalent (university or specialist hospitality or communications school).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in hotel environment is essential.
  • Fluent in the national language, English and a 3rd language.
  • Enthusiastic.
  • Spontaneous and empathic.
  • A high level of personal maturity is vital for this position.
  • Good visual memory.
  • Confident speaking skills.
